What We Do To Survive

It has been a while since I wrote a new blog post. I haven't worked at all this summer. I drive a school bus and didn't get a summer run. That means I didn't have any money coming in since the beginning of July until Sept. 10th. I survived by selling two diamond rings on eBay. One of those rings I didn't want to part with, but I also wanted to eat and pay some bills, so I did what I had to do. The stress would have been enough to drive me to drink if I had the money to buy some booze. *smiles* I found an excellent way to keep my mind focused and not think about my lack of funds. Doodles! Just taking a piece of unlined paper and drawing patterns is a great way to relieve stress.

Doodling even kept my mind off the fact that I have a $2000.00 natural gas bill hanging over my head. There is no way that's getting paid right now. If my book was selling then I would be having another income stream, even if it would be a small one. So I keep doodling and doodling.

I'm married to a Canadian. We are waiting for his Green Card to come through. Then next summer I won't find myself in this mess again, he will be working and we will get through the summer. Waiting for the Green Card keeps me doodling along.

Send good thoughts to me, please. And... I figure if 2000 people would donate $1.00 to the Jeannee` DeWolfe Life Fund, PayPal button at the right, I would be able to pay that bill. (tongue in cheek) I still have my sense of humor.
